Mars Ettiene
Administrative Lead
Mars Ettiene grew up surrounded by stories—at the dinner table, in books by their bed, and through the quiet rhythm of their mother’s hands at work. With a calm presence and sharp eye for detail, Mars brings four years of project management experience to Heritage in Her Hands. As a one-person admin team, they keep the mission moving with care and precision—and when it’s time to rest, they’re happily curled up with one of the weavers’ cats, purring in perfect harmony

Horatio Wong
Video & Sound Lead
Horatio is a PhD student at Durham University with a background in physics and a passion for visual storytelling. His research explores how images and narratives shape memory, understanding, and human connection across cultures and generations. With a foundation in analytical thinking and pattern recognition from his scientific training, Horatio brings a unique lens to filmmaking—one that blends intellectual precision with emotional resonance. He is driven by a desire to tell stories that challenge perceptions, amplify marginalised voices, and linger in the hearts and minds of audiences long after the credits roll.
Sam Hendersen
Digital & Design Lead
Sam is a seasoned content strategist and creative force behind campaigns that blend lifestyle, travel, and food into unforgettable storytelling. With bylines in leading global magazines and a background in editorial direction, Sam crafts immersive narratives that connect audiences to culture and place. For over 15 years, he has partnered with Cory Ettiene on projects rooted in authenticity, visual beauty, and emotional resonance—turning stories into experiences and content into community.
